MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find RCA Records very first Stereo press released by RCA Records in Chile in 1979, made and distributed by Industria De Radio Y Televisión S.A. (IRT Records), catalog number PB-5611, with hand etched matrix numbers PB-5611-A MSM-C in Side A and PB-5611-B MSM-C in Side B, with black/silver RCA Records labels with colored “dog” and solid center. It’s interesting to notice that in the deadwax of both sides it’s written the exact day of pressing, “17-1-79” (January 17th of 1979)!!! Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

“The Devil Sent You To Lorado” was originally released in Germany in 1979 and the same year we could see this great Disco single released here in Chile, and as you can see we also got an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE, made of a single piece of hard paper folded in the middle, with back cover pasted on the flips of front cover. Front and back covers keep the same GREEN-TINTED design, a picture of Baccara, the name of the band and song titles written in English at top edge and RCA Records logo and catalog number at bottom right corner. In labels, song titles are written in English only, with full credits for songwriters and for Rolf Soja as producer and arranger, with additional play time of each song. It’s interesting to notice that here in Chile we got the same German RCA Records catalog number and the picture sleeve is also almost the same of the original German press, but green-tinted. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE PRESS of this classic Disco hit “The Devil Sent You To Lorado” by Baccara, with UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE ONLY USED IN CHILE, a record almost never seen and in GREAT CONDITION!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!!

The cover was already described and it’s in EX- or EX condition, with minimal wear in corners, ring marks and creases, some faint blemishes and little rips in the spine and mouth edge, but all seams are solid, no seam splits. The record is in nice EX- or EX condition both sides, glossy and clean, with some soft scuffs and light hairlines, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in great EX or EX+ condition both sides, clear and clean, with only some spindle hole wear, more evident in Side B. The sound is in strong NM- or NM condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with only some minimal occasional soft crackles here and there, barely audible, more evident in the last seconds of each song, which of course don’t cause any distraction from the great sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS with UNIQUE GREEN-TINTED COVER, with a very nice glossy look, almost immaculate labels and still superb sound quality after almost 40 years, which won’t disappoint anyone, a record almost never seen and now auctioned in GREAT CONDITION!!! We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide:

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending on thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP10 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
