Description
Here is a 7 inch metal acetate, recorded on 1 side only.
On Maxi Disc label. Fantastic, weird spacey synth experimental track from Australia, that is totally unknown until now! I would say it has a Subotnick influence.
Playing surface is vg+ with only 2 or 3 light marks and one almost microscopic spot where there is laquer loss revealing metal underneath. Probably less than 1 mm. Like a pinprick. I'm being pedantic.
Has band name "Out and Beyond" in black felt pen on label and covered over in felt pen are the words of the title "Time Space and Resolution". Even the title has a psychedelic/trippy feel to it.
Person who did this colouring in seems to have made it look like an eye.
The font of the lettering looks typically psychedelic-era in style from late 60s to early 70s so I am attributing this recording to circa. 1970. No information exists anywhere on this band or title. This is the only copy that exists, on disc or tape.

It continues in the same manner. I think it's exceptional. Electronic tracks from this era don't get unearthed anymore. Especially not Australian ones. It's a long lost gem and can't believe this Aussie disc actually exists. I am very shocked that it has evaded detection for about 50 years.
If you want to hear the rest of it, you'll have to buy this disc.
There's no other way.
If you buy this, you could look into making a run of this single, as a vinyl pressing for fun or profit. Nobody is going to claim copyright on this.
