Atlantic Rhythm And Blues 1947-1974

These 7 double albums are the complete set of LPs from the 1985 box set. It covers the history of the classic years of Atlantic Records, ranging from early rhythm and blues with Ruth Brown, via soul of the 60s such as Otis Redding and early funk from the 1970s with Beginning of the End. These records are brimful of great soulful tunes from the greatest soul label of all times, a truly historical collection. The original box is not included as it was lost some time ago, but all LPs have extensive liner notes on the gatefold sleeve. Complete artist listing below

Condition

All records except where noted are in the following condition:

Record: EX+, the records were always played very carefully on a Revox turntable and cleaned with a soft brush before each playback. They have been kept in a protective plastic lined paper inner sleve since it was purchased new. This means it has not suffered any of the small scratches that comes from keeping it in a regular paper sleeve.

Cover: EX+, it has been kept in a protective clear outer sleeve since it was purchased new. All of these records have a small numbered sticker in the top right hand corner as can bee seen in the picture. NB: The white stickers are on the protective sleve only and not on the record itself!

Personal pick up is fine, this will obviously save you a lot of money. If you want it shipped, the cost is approximately 12 UK pounds inside the UK. No shipping outside the UK.

All records that are 6 or less in one parcel are posted in strong cardboard cruciform packaging. More than 6 will use cardboard boxes. If you purchase multiple items from me I will ship them as a single item and pass the savings on to you, just drop me a line to let me know you have purchased multiple items and I will send you a quote back for the reduced post and packaging costs.
