Description
I am reluctantly selling some of my jazz LP collection that I have put together over the past 30 years. Look at my other acutions for more LPs and in the weeks to come I will be listing others.
This copy of Art Pepper's INTRO LP (ILP-606) Modern Art is realy decent condition for a 50+ year old record. It is the finest copy of this LP that I have been able to buy in my many years of chasing down jazz records. I have come across second pressings in near mint shape on the SCORE label, but these INTRO original copies are really REALLY hard to find. I did see a perfect one many years ago, but the dealer wanted $1000 for it and I didn't have the cash handy.
The jacket is in solid condition with small partial seam splits and some abraision on the seams and slight corner dings. The back of the jacket is clean with slight browning from age. This is a solid VG jacket, perhaps borderline VG+ in some folk's mind--but let's call it VG. .
The disc itself is also in VG with some scuffs and hairlines. This is a respectable copy of an IMPOSSIBLY RARE west coast jazz LP! NM copies are probably going for MORE than $1000 these days and this one has a reserve less than 1/3 of that.
