Description

Armando Piazza: "Suan," on the Beautiful Black Butterfly label (1972, Italy, BSLA 0002). Disc is M-; 4-page gatefold jacket is a solid VG+! There is a crease upper right corner, a few wrinkles to the lamination; and a few age spots on one page inside. Overall please know the cover looks great, a fantastic copy, and the album plays perfect and still possesses that "new" sheen. There are lyrics and awesome photos inside.

No need to overhype what major collectors know is one of the absolute greatest acid-psych-folk albums ever made—and also one of the rarest. (A copy last year sold on eBay for over $1900.) Armando sings in English with a wonderful warm voice, with bursts of great fuzzed-out electric guitar and bass; one of the musicians is American guitarist Shawn Phillips. There is a full band on this LP unlike Armando's other album "Naus."

I cannot stress enough not only how rare this album is but how amazing the music is. It will quickly become one of your favorite records of all time, a true magical experience.
