Description
This set is the Holy Grail to most! Talk about rare, ebay encompasses the world. There is exactly one of these listed now. This one. The Black box is extremely rare with 1000 made, (the red box was extended to more-some say 2500, but not the black one!) and pretty much all of them are locked down tight in high end collections-they never show up. This is a low number at 334!! The Lp's look like new, the only defects I saw were 1 very light surface scratch on Rubber Soul and this is NOT feelable, and a spec on Pepper, possibly a factory defect, which is on the song "Good Morning" and I played this on my Luxman (w/ Denon 304 moving coil cartridge) and frankly I had to strain to hear anything-a very light tic on a few revolutions, really nothing but I try to reveal all I note. This Pepper is unbanded and it sounds great! XEX, signifying mono, is in the matrix for all, which is especially important concerning Pepper, Yellow Submarine, and The White Album as you may know. NM- is a fair rating on the vinyl here. Pepper and The White Album have the inserts as pictured. The covers to these look great, here are the defects I noted. White album-some bends/dings but nice and white. This is one of my personal favorites. In Mono it is very rare. Beatles For Sale-the cover has a bend, not bad but you can note it. The record of course is beautiful. Rubber Soul-small splits top and bottom dead center. The others all look very nice w/ only inconsequential dings. There are less of these made than any other issue in existence!! I have every Lp stored in a mobile fidelity inner sleeve, all covers and Lp's are in new poly sleeves, and the box is stored with the Lp's, but I do not keep the Lp's in the box. The box itself has a few dings but frankly it looks really nice. Top left back corner has a little tear, but no big deal. This set is basically impossible to find, you probably know that. You will have better luck finding the Red box than this, and I'm sure you know how tough that is. Those can go for about 2500, and this is a significantly more rare set than the red box. So take this when you see it because when someone else does you'll wish it had been you. These rarely show up!

Please ask any questions! Understand, these are not returnable for any reason, and so once bought that's it. Your bid implies your agreement to this. I am not a retail store and typically only have 1 of anything I list. These will be really well packed, oversize box, I'm really careful, and of course they will be insured too. Vinyl has a uniquely awesome sound - if you grew up in the US in the 60's or 70's you know the difference. LP's are not cd's, expect some background noise and occasional pops, it's normal for LP's to have these qualities, even new ones. Shipping as listed is for USA bidders only. Please inquire if you have questions and I will provide quick answers as best I can. Thanks.
