description detailsFounded in 1989 in Sarpsborg, Norway by frontman STEPHAN GROTH, the formation quickly became an internationally successful indie band with its highly catchy future pop sound, created from synth pop, electro, techno and rock.
Since their great debut album Soli Deo Gloria (1993), they have released various singles and EPs and fifteen other long players, five of which have made it into the top 20 of the German Media Control Charts. Since remixes have always been an essential part of the artistic work of band mastermind STEPHAN GROTH, it is not surprising that the release anniversary of Soli Deo Gloria is now being duly celebrated with a stylish 25th Anniversary Reissue Remix Edition (CD and DoLP). . A total of 18 top-class acts - including old companions as well as representatives of the new music generation - were invited to produce fresh, congenially spectacular versions and mixes in close cooperation with APOP boss GROTH, which give these undoubtedly classic tracks a new sound note , without neglecting the compositional roots.
The grand result is a highly multifaceted tribute that not only lives up to the original album (and masterpiece) but breathes new life into it.
