Anne Briggs - The Time Has Come ( 1971 CBS UK Original. 64612 stereo. orange label ) Here's a true gem from the English acid-folk glory daze..... very very seldom turns up now and certainly never in this almost unplayed state !..... wonderful haunting minimalist masterpiece ..... grab it while you can !..... Plain brown unprotected single fold cover has some diagonal creasing and some light ringwear. Small bash at top of opening edge .. Fully readable spine and practically no edge rubbing . Very strong VG PLUS ( most would say ex minus ).... Original plain CBS inner EX. Iconic deep orange CBS labels only have very feint spindle traces . No writing , stickers or staining. NEAR MINT. Medium weight vinyl lies flat and true on the platter. Absolutely stunning playing surfaces. Gleam like new . Ex record reviewer,s own copy so we reckon it's only had literally one or two plays for review purposes then filed away for 42 years !.... Brilliant audio as well.. glorious warm dynamic sound easily superior to CD re issue . Only one or two soft dust " pops " evident . Even under harsh spotlight practically nothing to see bar the microscopic sleeve removal traces ( as with all vinyl ).... There certainly won't be a better grade copy of this anywhere .... of that I am sure . NEAR MINT .... Gradings as per : Record Collector Grading System definitions . Dealer/collector since 1974.
