Description
Up for auction is a rare original mono pressing of the Andrew Hill 'Black Fire' LP on Blue Note Records BLP-4151. Other musicians include Joe Henderson, Richard Davis, and Roy Haynes.
Record info:
Strong VG+ very close to NM with some minor surface noise.
Cover info:
Solid VG+ with solid seams with some wear. The front bottom lefthand corner has moderate noticeable creasing. The top right corner has some wear and minor creasing. The cover has some noticeable dishing from the record being improperly stored for a long period. The back cover has a 'Review Copy' promo stamp and some age staining. It comes with the original Blue Note Records inner sleeve.
Label / Pressing info:
Original New York USA label press with RVG stamp and Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
