Amazing condition Horace Parlan- Headin' South on Blue Note Mono 4062. Review Copy
COVER:
Front is mint with a very high sheen, colours are lovely. No fading or dents. The only mark is top left corner in pink direct above ' O ' can hardly see it but a line crease 10mm maybe from press!?
Spine is mint except a small indent on bottom corner, top of spine is excellent
Bottom spine( in blue ) excellent just a mm scuff mark
Top spine ( in pink ) excellent except small scuff to right hand corner
Back cover is in excellent condition a few little marks and since this is a review copy has some timings in pencil next to tracks.
Overall I would give this cover a 9.8 / 10
VINYL:
The label is Blue Note New York USA address has R under the E. You will never see a copy without the R or any different address!!!
Both A & B sides have the Ear and RVG stamped in dead wax
Vinyl has a few surface marks, but these are not scratches, plays beautiful.
Vinyl is of high sheen and labels mint.
Overall the vinyl is 9 / 10.
A truly amazing copy of a very rare LP that you just will not find any where in this condition. A must for any Blue Note serious collector.
