Description

This vinyl LP by Horace Parlan, titled "Headin' South," is a true gem for any jazz collector. Released in 1962 by Blue Note Records, this first pressing features high-fidelity sound and a mono audio channel. The record size is 12 inches, and it plays at 33RPM.


Matrix runout is BN LP 4062 with RVG and the ear.  Label has NEW YORK USA microgroove.  BLP 4062. Cover has 43 West 61st St New York 23


Record Grading - VG

(Has been VPI VACUUM CLEANED.  Record is shiny and glossy. Has like 2 or 3 small mild scratches. Nothing deep causing any pops or obtrusive noise.  A little surface background noise in spots but mostly plays vg+ throughout and sounds great Label has a few stains.


Cover Grading - Poor

Is in original shrink still but did not want to peel it off due to moisture damage that has caused the shrink to stick to the cover. It has mold and mildew damage. No split ends.
