Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated - R&B From the Marquee - Original Decca Ace of Clubs LP - ACL1130

This historic LP is now 50 years old having been published by Decca in 1962 on their Ace of Clubs label. (The same record company that turned down The Beatles didn't have the confidence to issue this now much sought after album on its full-priced label!)

As well as the legendary Korner, the band also features Cyril Davies, Long John Baldry and Dick Heckstall-Smith amongst its fine line-up.

This copy of the record has been in my personal collection since new. Both the vinyl disc and the laminated sleeve are in excellent condition and I would think you would be hard-pushed to find a much better example than this one. (I would add that the sleeve does have my surname written in small capital letters on the rear in the right-hand ccorner.)

Side1: Gotta Move, Rain is Such a Lonesome Sound, I Got My Brand on You, Spooky but Nice, Keep Your Hands Off, I Wanna Put a Tiger in your Tank.

Side2: I Got my Mojo Working, Finkle's Cafe, Hoochie Coochie, Down Town, How Long Blues, I thought I Heard that Train Whistle Blow.

The record is presented complete with its original inner paper sleeve and will be despatched in a stiffened cardboard mailer. It comes from a smoke-free home.
