Description
Stax S-723 (stereo), "Born Under a Bad Sign" with Albert King, from 1967. Yellow-label vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. Jacket is about like new and in the original shrink wrap, which is fully intact. There are no visible seamwear, ringwear, corner wear, or bends, and the jacket is extremely clean. Songs include title track, "Crosscut Saw", "Kansas City", "Oh, Pretty Woman", "Down Don't Bother Me", "The Hunter", "I Almost Lost My Mind", "Personal Manager", "Laundromat Blues", "As the Years Go Passing By", and "The Very Thought of You". This is AK's masterwork, even with its odd mixture of track genres. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than three LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
