Description

Albert Ayler (with Gary Peacock, Don Cherry, Sunny Murray) GHOSTS. Debut 144, recorded 1964.  thin-cover printed in Holland. Disc plays NM-; general wear through careful play makes for low-amplitude chatter throughout.. 3 thumps sound for about 4 revolutions: all are removable, or even removed in the play-checking. One peanut-buttery fingerprint in lead-in groove is not audible on playback. jacket is VG+: much fingerprinting near the spine edge on reverse.

Here’s the ninth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
