Description

Here´s an original copy of BILLY THORPE AND THE AZTECS - The Hoax Is Over, released 1970 in Australia on Infinity SINL-934092. Same story as with Blackfeather's first just listed too: SUPERRARE original first press in textured sleeve. Besides Coloured Balls "Summer Jam" album my top favourite in this dirty/stomping/bluesy/psychy field. Billy Thorpe's screaming like a maniac, Lobby Loyde goes berserk on his axe. Their hardest and most psychedelic album. My highest recommendation and I really NEVER saw a mintish copy. This is my old copy which I had at least for about 15 years and in these long years I always tried to find a better one....no way.

Condition cover: vg(+), the extremely fragile textured gatefold has ringwear and light general rubbing on front and back. Not so bad spine- and cornerwear, some light creases along the spines. One small defect on front under the "v" of ...over. Two hardly to locate blue spots on front. The great psychedelic inside of the gatefold is vg++ with one small defect on top left corner and another one on left bottom corner. No writings, tears or seamsplits and backspine is almost perfect readable.

Condition record: vg+(+), it has it's visual hairlines and paperscuffs, plays with light background noises on start, between the tracks and in a few quieter parts. 80% m-. Nice keeper copy regarding the rarity.

I should mention that my gradings are visualy AND audible taken on a Wilson Benesch Act Two turntable combined with Sumiko Blue Point Special cartridge and this combination doesn't lie...I'm just a collector and don't like overgraded records so much...
