This album is a masterpiece! Charles Mingus considered it the best album he ever made and the one he liked the most from his entire career.
Recorded in 1972 and produced by Teo Macero, it was a towering achievement for Mingus. It ranks up there with Duke Ellington's finest large ensemble recordings.
This particular record was signed TWICE by Mingus and also inscribed with some very unique words including the above quote. Also, Mingus inscribed the Bonus Enclosure Insert with something about Martians ! Very Cool Piece, a true Collector's Item !
