ATOM BOMB BABY
It’s hard to thing back to a time when you could get away with a lyric like "Atom bomb baby, little atom bomb, I want her in my wigwam, she's just the way I want her to be, a million times hotter than TNT." That’s just the sort of song that demands to be shared with the world by any means necessary.
Remarkable as it seems, The Five Stars (from Indianapolis) had a regional hit with “Atom Bomb Baby” on the little Kernel Records label in April of 1957. They were picked up nationally by Dot in May and even appeared on 'American Bandstand!' Sing along teens !

You might also know this from the soundtrack to the film ‘Atomic Café’ many years ago. What a classic! On the flip is the rather forgettable tune “You Sweet Little Thing.”
