Full Gloss Vinyl looks and plays Like New. Labels are pristine both sides.

COVER is VG+
Super-Clean and vibrant cover has no wear, writing or soil. a few mild edge creases coming off top seam and a couple of very tiny surface scuffs. Would be a solid EX but for some waviness on lower section of cover and mild l.r. corner crease (on one side only). Straight edges and sharp corners all around. Seams and spine completely intact with no wear or splits. Spine titles 100% legible, sharp and clear.

"With this debut album "Musiciens-Magiciens", ATOLL led the way for the others with a wonderful progressively charmed album full of emotion and originality. Musically "Musiciens - Magiciens" shares sensibilities and stylistic form with early GENESIS, YES, early KING CRIMSON, MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA and ANGE.  Their style was very theatrical in nature (but stepped back a bit from ANGE in the 'theatrical' department) offering dynamic and melodic arrangements with some great song writing and  superb vocal harmonies. Also on hand is the foggy mystery reminiscent of Bo Hansson.

"The album is comprised of 7 tracks of early prog rock with an amazing 11 min. epic track "Le Baladin Du Temps" which definitely is IMHO the defining moment on this album. An excellent album full of originality...!"

"Vocals are nice and not too demonstrative here. But what is really fantastic is their music. Complex, sensitive, melodic, full of medieval fantasy. Their sound is of course influenced by Crimson (once again) and Genesis; but we are far from having a clone here. Atoll sounds very original, fresh. What it's even more remarkable with this album, is that it does not sound outdated. "L'Hymne Medieval" is positively dripping with Mellotrons and rich bass, providing just the right kind of nostalgic feel that Genesis and King Crimson perfected. Bravo for this superb piece of music. Again, the Mellotron rings out for the epic piece "Le Baladin du temps", which is full of vocal experimentation; melody lines that wind and twist into unexpected territory.".

who was a DJ at the Radio Station I co-founded in the 1970's - and who worked for me at my California record store in the '70s and '80s.
Sadly he has now finally left this mortal coil, bequeathing me his deep Vinyl Mine.

I do NOT EVER want to exclude all bidders from any particular country, even though a few specific countries are responsible for almost all spurious "not received" or "not as described" claims over the years. This evolves... for instance in France, buyers from Ile de France area seem, more and more, to be very prone to make a false claim. (one of my earliest, very best customers was from Ile de France but moved to Belgium some years back) ...so even there, I hate to exclude ALL buyers from there; however I cannot possibly afford to be scammed due to the unlucky result of a winning bidder being a bad actor. Also it seems to be the fun game recently for some in Germany, Spain and Italy to buy far more than the collector can afford and make false claims on many of them. Again I will need to know you can be trusted. Many, many great buyers in all those countries, but plenty of trouble comes from them as well. Brazil has terrible post/mail problems. Italy has long Customs hold times. In NONE of those cases is it my fault and I will not lose out because of other countries' problems beyond my control. Having said that, I will not ever cancel any bidders with solid, good reputations and feedback.
