Description
EMI Records stereo four disc boxed set, ASD 445-448, original white and gold label discs pressed in England. Earliest maroon box. Promo copy. Each disc has "Factory Sample, Not For Sale" sticker, although the stickers on 445 and 446 have been partially peeled off, see pics. Includes the complete libretto, which had to be purchased separately and is often missing. Single page insert also included.
Wagner, Tannhäuser, complete opera. Franz Konwitschny conducts the chorus and orchestra of the German State Opera, Berlin. Cast includes Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Hans Hopf, and Elisabeth Grümmer. See pics for complete cast and program details.
Discs all NM, box VG, one split corner, and a tear in the bottom edge of the top of the box, no material missing. Slight moisture damage to the libretto, but it's still perfectly serviceable.
