Description

This is the 2002 Displeased pressing of Arcturus' classic debut album, Aspera Hiems Symfonia, which also includes the My Angel and Constellation EPs. This 2xLP compilation is in near-mint condition (both records and cover) and have been played a handful of times- I have owned it for about 2 years, it was purchased by a close friend who knows how to take care of his vinyl). This album represents Arcturus' early stage, as one of the strongest and most innovative symphonic black metal bands in existence, before they went off into far more experimental territory. This is a must-have for fans of Arcturus or the style in general, I would not be letting go of it if it weren't for financial troubles. 

Track A1 - B8: originally released as the 'Aspera hiems symfonia' CD, Misanthropy records, UK 1996.

Track C9 - C10: previously unreleased tracks from the 'Aspera hiems symfonia' recording sessions.

Track C11 - D14: originally released in a limited edition of 500 as 'Constellation' promo-CD, Nocturnal Art Productions, Norway 1994. 
C12: Same song as track A2, different title.

Track D15 - D16: originally released in a limited edition of 1100 as 'My Angel' 7"EP, Putrefaction Records, France 1991.
