For sale a first press UK copy of The Beatles album from 1968, commonly referred as to: ‘White Album’
This is a first press with top loader, black inner sleeves, dark apple labels, embossed band name a 7 digit number (this is number: 0335682).
This is also used as an export copy, bearing 3 Odeon stickers: one on the front of the sleeve and two on the two records.
It comes with photos and poster in really great conditions.
The only real drawback of this set are the records, which were poorly taken care of, or even worst, let someone play (in the wrong sense…) with those.
CONDITIONS
Sleeve
Front. Ringwear, though not so pronounced, some handlings, a little lamination bubble at the bottom of the front, with a ding close by, a dent on the bottom right corner.
Rear. Similar conditions to the front, with a scratch and ringwear + handling/creases.
Spine with a long crease but still intact
All in all I would say a solid VG++
Records (visual grading only)
These are in somehow poor shape, with long scratches, scuffs.
Labels and ensuing stickers are in great shape, anyhow.
Side 1:long round scuffs. Poor to Fair only
Side 2: in better shape, still possibly playable (?). Good -
Side 3: Fair to Good
Side 4: Fair to Good
Black Inner sleeves. One seem to be different than the others; not sure if the previous owner have found a replacement. Anyway they are in pretty good conditions.
Poster. In truly excellent conditions. Some handling but really minimal. Looks pretty new for its age
Photos. Look very shiny; Ringo’s and George’s being the best. Some small bent around corners but really minimal and not very visible from front. They are in excellent conditions
They come with one spacers, those white piece of paper of the same size, which were originally put to separate pictures. This has been crumpled a bit, so good – conditions.
