We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Hard to find SO CLEAN like this....Original 1966 first pressing, in glorious MONO ...the rare mono issue contains not only different song mixes from the stereo issue but has the bold punchy production that sounds so cool ...

THE TURTLES ...their second strong album containing the timeless "You Baby" ...it's amazing the contrast of the Turtles appearance in the first two albums, gone from grubby garage hopefuls to cleaned up new stars...luckily they deliver the same format as the strong first album, just now looking the part of the successful band they emerged to become.

On their second album, The Turtles stuck to the same brand of sunny, commercial folk-rock as their debut. It's pleasant fare, in the same league as The Byrds & Lovin' Spoonful, the group's original material are good but he best cuts are the ones penned by the Barri/Sloan songwriting team, including the hits 'You Baby' and 'Can I Get to Know You Better.' The Turtles hit the bull's eye with this second album in 1966. It is a delightful blend of folk and rock and roll and an expansion of these styles from their first album. The fun, ultra catchy 1966 hit "You Baby" was an early signature song and remains a stellar gem to this day.

"Let Me Be" is without a doubt a very cutting edge, excellent, high powered song. The lyrics and the melody stand on their own merit and will remain an integral part of rock history. It is also the perfect autism/Asperger's Anthem. A better song could not be found for this singular distinction. (In September of 1965, the Turtles performed this gem on "Shindig." It was released a few months later in early 1966) and the rest of the album is superb!

CONDITION: The cover: rated: MINT in factory cellophane, has a little tiny gold grommet at top left. This is a highly wear-prone cover, not many surviving copies are without shelf wear - this copy has NO wear! No split seams, no bends, no writing ...ages old '60s store price sticker on outer cellophane

The vinyl: is all glossy clean on both sides, rated: M- TOP COPY = the deep groove pressing plays ALL CLEAN = excellent, enjoyable...the White Whale labels are both clean....
