ANDREW HILL Compulsion, Blue Note 4217 mono NY rvg

 

 

This is a vintage vinyl USA pressing  - NOT a recent reissue.

 

 

Blue and white label with "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC - NEW YORK USA" address, "R" on the bottom.

 

Back cover address reads:  "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23".

 

Includes original BLUE NOTE inner sleeve.

 

Vinyl:  EX, almost M-, but I do see a small needle drop for a few grooves on Compulsion (could affect play, depending on your tracking weight, etc), thick pressing, mild deep groove, "VAN GELDER" stamped in both trailoffs.

Cover: no splits, no cutouts, no drillholes, has original WALLICH'S MUSIC CITY demo sticker on front (blacked out), "PROMOTIONAL NOT FOR SALE"  inkstamp on front, discount price written on back, better than decent otherwise, includes original BLUE NOTE inner sleeve.
