Description
This is a fine original US pressing copy of British glam rockers Slade's debut LP from 1969, when they were calling themselves Ambrose Slade. The British version of the record has a different title (Beginnings) and cover art, but the same tracks, which include a mix of originals and covers (two songs by kindred spirits Steppenwolf, the Mothers of Invention's "Ain't Got No Heart," etc.). The jacket has a few creases/small indentations in the spine, a sticker stain on the back cover, and very light ring wear and staining -- EX(+). Visually, the disc has lots of light scuffing, but it plays well with mostly light surface noise audible between tracks and in quieter passages -- EX(-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded all discs except where otherwise noted, and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
