ALKANA LP Welcome to my paradise RI HEAVY PSYCH FROM THE FJORDS Similar NM
1978 monster rarity from the progressive heavy rock underworld, Ùber-cult album for the proto-epic metal freaks, up there with such legendary albums like From the Fjords from Legend, Armed to the Teeth by Asia, or Ashbury's Endless Skies. Also a must-have for any pomp-rock fan, with a mention in Acid Archives. Such is the talent and songwriting skills of California guitar-god Danny Alkana that this record can actually please different groups of underground rock fans from the '70s. From straight on rockers like the opener 'California Rock 'n' Roll Queen' and 'On Our Own,' to the progressive ideas in 'Montezuma's Revenge' ending up in the most pomp-epic heavy rock anthem 'The Tower.' These are 7 songs that everyone agrees: all killers, no fillers! Singing on this record is none other than Mr. Jack Rucker, who in the early 80's had a short but joyful career with the melodic epic metal gods Warlord. The value of this record is as big as it's music. Expected for years, finally now Acid Nightmare Records presents it in its original vinyl glory, sleeve art maintained intact even with the tracklist errors like the original. Finally we can rest in peace! Limited to 400 copies." MINT Unplayed on the mighty Acid Nightmare label.
