Description
This is the first full length LP released by iconic San Francisco punk band, Flipper, released in 1982 on Subterranean Records.
The vinyl is in NM Condition. The original lyric insert is included and is in excellent condition.
The jacket is in great condition, and was signed (very colorfully) by the band in 1993 at a New Orleans show.
Steve DePace (drums) has signed: “To New Orleans with Love, Stevie D., Bite the Tail and Suck the Head!”
Bruce Loose (lead vocal) has signed: “Best wishes to all my fans, love, Bruce Loose ‘93”
John Dougherty (bass) has signed: “Best wishes dead guys replacement, love, John D. Remember Will! He SHATTERED.” (Note that Will Shatter died of a drug overdose in 1987, and his replacement, John Dougherty would also die of a drug overdose ten years later in 1997.)
Ted Falconi (guitar) has signed: “To all those that are still here, Ted” (followed by a drawing of the flipper fish logo
On the back cover, someone has drawn the flipper logo along with the word “Hi!!!”. Then it says “Dave,” but I’m not sure who that is, since David Yow wouldn’t be in the band till years later.
