Beautiful and highly collectable limited edition box set release from audiophile label, Classic Records. EIGHT one-sided vinyl records pressed on 180 Gram vinyl. All-Analogue Half Speed Mastering from the original Master Tapes at 45 RPM. Box contains four gatefold LP covers holding two records each. The cover is a beauriful replica of the original RCA Living Sound classic.
The best sound, ever, for this legendary audiophile RCA Victor "Shaded Dog" recording.
Condition: Laminated, unsealed box looks like new. There are scuffs as you can see on the scan... but they look more like a by-product of the lamination than they do any king of friction or rubbing . Sides are rigid, corners are sharp and colors, vibrant. Inside the box are four gatefold sleeves holding two records apiece. Each is individually sealed except for Record One, which has been opened but never removed from the sleeve. Records are packed in an exact replica of the original living Sound cover and all are high quality, heavy board, laminated sleeves. A beautiful deluxe package!
Review: Arguably the greatest recording of Albéniz's masterpiece in its complete form, highly praised by Claude Debussy and Olivier Messiaen, who said: "Iberia is the wonder for the piano; it is perhaps on the highest place among the more brilliant pieces for the king of instruments".
