ALAN SKIDMORE QUINTET - Once upon A Time - LP
Deram Nova SDN 11 - 1970 MEGA RARE IN THIS CONDITION!
matrix numbers : ZAL-9334P-1W (side 1); ZAL-9333P-1W (side2)
First and ONLY Pressing
This must be one of the hardest-to-find in the Deram Nova series. It's quality British jazz - 1970 vintage, too, featuring Skidmore with Kenny Wheeler, Tony Oxley, Harry Miller, and John Taylor. This is a tremendous copy - sleeve is almost mint, clean and crisp, back and front, unmarked and unspoilt, a tiny dent on the top of the spine prevents this from being perfect. Vinyl has seen barely any use as the previous owner (who bought this from new) copied it straight to reel to reel and never looked at it again!! I've played it through and it sounds amazing - there's no spindle-wear and the vinyl is as good as the day it was pressed!
As with all my auctions 99p start price and no reserve with FREE UK shipping! This is a great chance to pick up a hopelessly rare slice of jazz (and prog) history.
