Etchings (Matrix/Runout): • Side A: APLP 040 A (stamped) • Side B: APLP 040 B (stamped) ⸻ This is the original Australian first pressing of Highway to Hell, on the blue Albert Productions label with correct etched matrix identifiers. It was recorded at Roundhouse Studios, London, and mixed at Basing Street Studios. This album marks a pivotal moment in rock history as Bon Scott’s final album with AC/DC, released just months before his untimely death in 1980. It’s widely regarded as one of their finest recordings and a cornerstone of their legacy. This is the true first pressing, not to be confused with later black label or reissues.
