Description

"A Date With Jimmy Smith" on Blue Note 1547, an original pressing from 1957. The labels have the 47 W.63rd address and deep grooves on both sides. RVG and "ear" are etched in the dead wax.  The cover is in NM condition, sharp corners and strong spine, tight seams. The back cover is still creamy white and unblemished. It was still in the factory plastic when I acquired it.   The vinyl is in NM/VG++ condition, looks as if it were carefully played once or twice. It is still in the original Blue Note inner sleeve which is also NM. Overall, an extremely well preserved vintage jazz album. This would definitely be an upgrade for most serious collectors.
