Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst (our sister 78 record ebay names) is E+ (NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 5" box. We have had few problems with damage on the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far. Peter
78RPM Columbia 38463 Dinah Shore + Buddy Clark - Baby, It's Cold Outside E to E- nick/dig at end / My One And Only Highland Fling E- This rare (in this nice condition) circa 1949 record is in an above average, sharp E to E- / E-, I will start by describing the nick (dig) at the end of Cold Outside (6th + 7th photos)--I played this and I really heard nothing--the music starts fading out at that point and I really barely heard clicks in the silence--I am no expert on play grading--it sounds like a 78 to me--I played with filters sounds better depending on if I flip filter levers on the amp--I got a bad player setup --I only use it too check dig spots like this one on Baby end --I am a visual grader by trade--visibly the Baby Outside side is above average with light to mild wear and few light flaws (besides that nick/dig--I did not hear)--well kept. The Highland side has more mild wear and flaws, everything is minor mild on that side too--and I would categorize that side as better then average too, see my 12 photos above to judge the shellac surfaces for yourself. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have little wear. Will be in the vintage sleeve it has been stored in for 6-7 decades. Only have 1 of this.
