Description

78 rpm jazz, Blue Note #1- on the rare pink label. Meade Lux Lewis the boogie woogie/jazz piano player does Solitude/ Melancholy. Overall E-/VV+ but has some issues. It seems to have gotten some heat damage at some point and does play through with heavy tracking and even a little thumb pressure on the stylus at the beginning...The music is still enjoyable, but the audio issues are there. Still a historically significant jazz record from the company that issues so many great jazz records in the bop, swing, modern jazz era..So it is sold as is---with the defects described...



They are play graded on a modern turntable using a new Stanton 2.7 mil stylus. I have been collecting, buying, selling, packing and shipping for decades so have experience in all of these aspects, so please feel free to bid with confidence!
