CHAMPEIL QUARTET perform Ravel´s: "String quartet in F major" (SATURNE LD-7001 10")
Extremely rare original first press LP on French 1950-s cult label Saturne!
This is the scarce first edition of this 10" record that was sold inside a 12" sleeve!
HOLY GRAIL of french classical music, has appeared for sale only twice before on eBay!
RECORD VG+ / VG (Visually VG+, plays VG. Some light surface marks and scuffs here and there, no feelable scratch marks, has not been played much! Labels with light spindle marks. Plays great with light tics and soft surface noise due to 1950-s pressing - still a nice and deep mono sound, have a listen to audio samples below. Record play tested from start to finish - no needle jumps or overpowering crackle, still highly enjoyable listening despite the 1950-s recording!)
SLEEVE VG++ (Sleeve close to excellent! Some scuffs in front, have a look at the photos. Stamp from record store on back. Sharp corners, no splits or tears, overall looks fantastic for its age!)
