Louis Armstrong: La vie en rose / C'est si bon (Decca BM 30956) 1950
78 RPM Record = VG+
Record made in Denmark.
Comes in typical Danish record shop cardboard sleeve.
All records are cleaned and play tested. Lower grade records with marks and wear are more carefully checked and commented regarding sound, clicks, background noise, possible jumps etc.
Shellac records are carefully packed with double layers of cardboard on both sides (sometimes filler records) and placed in a large cardboard box with crumpled newspaper or packaging chips as filling material. Shipping with the regular postal service.

Any flaws deviating from the general description will be noted. Records below VG (V+) will be described in detail regarding sound quality and any serious flaws to the record.
78RPM SHELLAC DISC GRADING:
Modified version of VJM.
Records below VG (V+) will be described in detail regarding sound quality and any serious flaws to the record.
M- = N- Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.
EX = E+ Plays like new, with very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs or faint wear.
VG++ to EX- = E Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and faint scratches.
VG(+) to VG+ = E- Less shiny (or beginning dullness) and without the lustre of a new record with scuffs, and a few light scratches or marks. Playing is without notable distortion.
VG = V+ An average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
VG(-) = V Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
VG- = V- Quite playable still, but distortion or heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
G+ Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
G+ = G Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.
G = G- Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.
F Most of music remains audible over surface noise, but listening now uncomfortable.
P Unplayable.
