Another batch of records from the boxes in the basement that I have to move on to somebody else's collection. This time its 6 Buddy Holly 45's on Coral starting with a promo Peggy Sue and Everyday, Heartbeat and Well....All Right, Raining In My Heart and It Doesn't Matter Anymore, Peggy Sue Got Married and Crying Waiting Hoping, True Love Ways and Bo Diddley and finally Brown-Eyed Handsome Man and Wishing. I can't post these to my YouTube because of copyright issues, but these all play really nice and I took out the ones in lesser condition.
Peggy Sue vinyl is a really nice and clean VG with a few light surface scratches. Heartbeat vinyl is a real nice and clean VG with some light surface scratches and a sticker on the label with some ring wear on both labels. Raining In My Heart vinyl is a real nice and clean VG with a few very light surface scratches and writing on both labels. Peggy Sue Got Married vinyl is a really nice and clean VG+. True Love Ways vinyl is a nice and clea VG with a few light surface scratches and writing on the label with two small tears on the True Love Ways label. Brown-Eyed Handsome Man vinyl is a real nice and clean VG with a few very light surface scratches.
I record the songs using an Audio Technica VM 540 ML needle through a McIntosh C24 preamp. You can hear the song from beginning to needle lift with NO editing of the MP3.
I'm starting to sell off my 45 year personal collection that consists of all types of novelty records like, Halloween, Christmas, Beatle novelty, Elvis novelty, Break-in, Answer, Trucker and Chipmunk sounds.
