These series of Scrapbooks on the pop band Bucks Fizz were originally purchased off EBAY some 25 years ago. I am selling my BUCKS FIZZ collection of scrapbooks which features pictures & magazine articles from their pop stardom hey-day! . I believe they were purchased off a girl called Nicola who had painstakingly put together scrap books of magazine, newspaper & promotional articles on Bucks Fizz as a group and the individual members including the Jay Aston replacement singer from 1985 Shelley Preston.
If interested in purchasing, please bear in mind that these are Scrapbooks put together by a young girl in the 1980's and as such have handwritten little quizzes & handwritten versions of "Bucks Fizz" on some of the pages. I believe that I purchased these around 1999/2000.
Scrapbook 11: This particular scrapbook appears to focus on the summer of 1985 when Jay Aston sensationally quit & Bucks Fizz & their management team sought to find a replacement singer. Many of these articles are introducing Shelley Preston & additionally feature a "Kiss & tell" relating to Jay Aston by her former boyfriend as well as articles relating to Jay Astons departure. During this period Bucks Fizz were fronting a Sharp promotion "Less Bucks, More Fizz" an there are advertisements featuring Jay Aston included. Obviously, newspaper articles are printed and unless saved become tomorrows Fish & chip paper so these articles are rare to find now. Many of these now vintage articles sell individually for upwards of £7/8
