ITEM DESCRIPTION
- ARTIST : Thirteenth Floor Elevators
- TITLE : You're Gonna Miss Me / Tried To Hide
- LABEL : AI , Which is supposed to be IA (Printing Error)
- CONDITION : Record is VG+, very few light scuffs and scratches that affect play little to none.
- DESCRIPTION : This is the early copy that they misprinted the label name on. It should have read, "AI", and instead reads, "IA". Label has very small tears on outside edge. The especially great thing about this single is that Roky Ericson signed a plain record sleeve for me in Texas, in person, in 1985. The plain sleeve does have a rip, but it doesn't affect the autograph!
- Of course this is classic Texas garage Punk! Zoom in to most clearly see the photos of label and Roky autograph.
GRADING
Grading is always subject to interpretation. I try to grade very conservatively.
M- This only comes up if it is new.
VG++ Rarely played, still like new.
VG+ Plays great but showing signs of age or wear.
VG Generally this grading still plays good, but may have surface noise and loss of record gloss.
VG- Many times these still are decent copies but ticks and pops and surface noise are usually present.
G+ Only sell at this grade if it is extremely rare, usually pretty beat but not unplayable.
