Inserts + Sleeve: Two Original inserts which are 1 page 2 sides long. The first has a track listing in English and Japanese and some information in Japanese. The second has a track listing, credits and lyrics in English. This also has the Original White Paper sleeve which has a couple of little nicks in it, but the album is now housed in a half moon poly liner. The inserts have no rips, tears or creases, but have slightly discoloured.

Kissing to Be Clever is the debut album by new wave soul band Culture Club, released in 1982.
The album was anchored by the international hit "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me". The album's first two singles were "White Boy" (which failed to crack the US or UK top 100), and "I'm Afraid of Me" (which peaked at No. 100 in the UK). But with the release of "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me", the band scored a hit in over a dozen countries. Next single "Time (Clock of the Heart)" became a US and UK top ten hit. This song appeared on US versions of the album but not initially on the UK version. Another single was released in North America, "I'll Tumble 4 Ya", which went top ten in the US. This made Culture Club the first band since The Beatles to have three top ten hits in America from a debut album.
Reviews for Kissing to Be Clever have been generally mixed to positive. Allmusic's Lindsay Planer rated it four out of five stars. She noted that it "was embraced by not only post-disco dance music enthusiasts, but also new wave listeners and pop fans as well." She also stated that the singles "provide accurate thumbnail sketches of what Culture Club were capable of pulling off musically." She concluded by saying: "From the light and buoyant Philly soul-inspired string arrangement to the effervescent and singalongable chorus, the melody foreshadowed a similar vibe that would carry over to their sophomore long-player, Colour by Numbers."

Colour by Numbers is the second album by New Wave band Culture Club, released in 1983.
The album features several international hits such as "Church of the Poison Mind" and the worldwide hit "Karma Chameleon" which had sales of over one million in the United Kingdom alone. Colour by Numbers showcased the vocal talents of Helen Terry alongside Boy George, and chartwise improved upon the successful formula of Culture Club's début album Kissing to Be Clever.
In 1989, Colour by Numbers was ranked #96 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Greatest Albums of the 1980s. The album is also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
The album has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and, like its predecessor, contained several hit singles. Released worldwide "Church of the Poison Mind" went Top 10 in UK, USA, Canada, Australia and many European countries. "Karma Chameleon", however, was the signature track from the album and charted #1 almost everywhere. "Victims" was released in Europe and Oceania and was a hit in several countries, including top five hit in the UK and Australia. "Miss Me Blind" was released in North America, South America, Japan, and Australia to great success (Top 5 in US and Canada), and "It's A Miracle" was issued next almost everywhere, becoming a Top 10 or Top 20 hit in several markets. "Mister Man" was released as a single in South Africa.
The album was certified diamond in Canada, and also went gold, platinum, or multi-platinum in many other countries. It went 4x platinum in the United States at its time of release (more than 4 million copies shipped) and peaked at #2 (behind Michael Jackson's Thriller).
In an interview in 1998, the four members of Culture Club agreed that "Colour By Numbers" was their best work.

Waking Up with the House on Fire is the third album by New Wave band Culture Club, released in 1984.
While Waking Up with the House on Fire did reach platinum status in the US it was considered to be a disappointment compared to the 4X platinum status of the groups last album Colour by Numbers. It sold more than 4 million copies worldwide, being gold or platinum in many countries, and being 2 X Platinum in Canada.
Despite a strong first single, "The War Song" which became a number 2 hit in the UK and a top 20 hit in the US in the Autumn of 1984, the album didn't achieve the level of success expected. The other two singles were "The Medal Song" (#32 in UK), (with its B-side, "Don't Go Down That Street" being released as a single from a subsequent EP in Japan but only reaching #69 in the charts) and "Mistake No.3" (#33 in US). In Mexico, "Don't Talk About It" was a single.
On the VH1 program Behind the Music, the narrator states, “Today, the band admits the album was a hurried and halfhearted effort.” Many music insiders also feel that Culture Club and Boy George may have fallen victim to overexposure in both the British and American press by the end of 1984. Subsequently, Culture Club decided to change direction for the next album, From Luxury to Heartache, by choosing a new producer and moving in a dance-oriented direction.
The album's cover can be seen in the 2008 film Sex and the City as part of Carrie Bradshaw's collection of LPs from the 1980s.

This Time – The First Four Years is the first official greatest hits album of British new wave group Culture Club, released, by Virgin Records, in 1987. Its release came one year after the band had split up.
The compilation exclusively includes, in its vinyl edition, the band's most successful hits. The one track which was never available in single format is "Black Money" (originally on their second album, Colour by Numbers), which was intended to be released to promote this collection, but never actually came out. The album includes a wide selection of tracks taken from all their albums (including more than half the tracks from the Colour By Numbers album), as well as the group's contribution to the Electric Dreams film soundtrack; "Love Is Love". For many countries, it was the first time that their hit "Time (Clock of the Heart)" was included on an album.

"Time (Clock of the Heart)" is a song by the British band Culture Club, released as stand-alone single in most of the world and as the second single from their debut album Kissing to Be Clever in North America. Following on the heels of the number-one UK hit, "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me", "Time (Clock of the Heart)" peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart. In the U.S., the song matched the number-two peak of its predecessor on the Billboard Hot 100.
In Europe and United Kingdom, it was a stand-alone single, released in November 1982. For this market, its first inclusion on a Culture Club album was on their 1987 compilation, called This Time: The First Four Years.
The music video has been released in two versions. The only difference was a scene where the group is watching TV, along with vocalist Helen Terry. In one version, a Christmas tree is shown. In the other, the tree is removed. This was because of the date of release for certain markets. The "Christmas" version, was for European countries and the "regular version" was for the other markets, where the song was released in spring 1983.
Like many of the songs composed by George at this time, the lyrics interrogate the pleasure and shame inherent in taboo homosexual relationships. The song can be interpreted as both a seduction piece, and a lament, for Jon Moss, the band's drummer, with whom George was romantically involved.
