No skipping. Great fidelity.

There is however, on the BIG ROCK side, about a 3/4" scratch at the end of the song that gives a very light pop here and ther at random so light that you probably would not notice if you didnt know the scratch was there. But after the song is finished, there are 3 louder pops in a row before the arm goes into the return space.

HEN CACKLE side has about an inch crack at the top edge that doesnt go through to the other side. Same thing on the opposite side but in a different place. I didnt notice any continuous pops or noise out of the ordinary on the areas when played.
