Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. ULTRA RARE -British only- LIMITED EDITION that was available seemingly only overnight when only 100 (numbered) Copies were pressed in lavish transparent gold vinyl .... here is number #33 ... featuring John Henry Bonham, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, Paul McCartney & others (see below) ... you won't easily find another copy... On 25 Sept 1980, John Bonham, drummer with Led Zeppelin, died aged 32 after a heavy drinking session. 'Bonzo' was found dead at guitarists Jimmy Page's house of what was described as asphyxiation, after inhaling his own vomit after excessive vodka consumption, (40 shots in four hours). During live sets his drum solo, 'Moby Dick,' would often last for half an hour and regularly featured his use of his bare hands. Ask any rock musician to name their favourite drummer and many to most will name Bonham. The man who, before joining the biggest rock group on the planet, was banned from British music venues for playing too loud; the man who once flew his group's Boeing 720 passenger jet The Starship all the way from New York to Los Angeles (he didn't have a pilot's licence); the man who would ride motorbikes down hotel corridors for something to do. John Henry Bonham, born in Redditch, Worcestershire in 1948. Best known as the drummer of Led Zeppelin, Bonham was esteemed for his speed, power, fast right foot, distinctive sound, and "feel" for the groove (he was in fact a soul drummer). The swing and swagger were his alone. John Henry Bonham is still widely considered to be one of the greatest drummers in the history of rock music and, over 30 years since his death, Bonham continues to garner awards and praise, including a Rolling Stone 2011 readers' pick, placing him first among the magazine's 'best drummers of all time'.
