Eurythmics Be Yourself Tonight LP Vinyl Record Album 1985 PL70711 RCA
This is an extremely rare promotional copy signed by Annie Lennox & Dave Stewart at the launch party for the album in April 1985.
Best looking signatures from the pair I’ve ever seen. This may very well be an Annie Lennox signature signed in lipstick and it looks fantastic on the cover art, as if it was meant to be there.
There is an imprinted stamp deeming it as a ‘demonstration copy - not for sale’ as pictured.
There are also what look to be hand etched markings by the record company on the inner circle of the record. Impossible to photograph but they read - 020 B-2500 B-2 PL711-B Precision.
There are slight signs of wear to the outer sleeve, but considering this was the copy being bandied about by the artists themselves that night, it’s in great shape. There is one visible scratch to the record on side 2, but it doesn’t look to be too deep. To be completely honest I wouldn’t even play this as it’s a part of history. Deserves to be framed.
