Original 1928 US Paramount 78rpm.
Excellent Chicago recorded Louisiana Blues by Elzadie Robinson with Will Ezell on piano.
Alex Van Der Tuuk's "The New Paramount Book Of Blues" (we'll have some new copies of the books 2nd press up here soon), says Elzadie was form Logansport on the Louisiana-Texas border, just south of Shreveport. Will Ezell "was playing piano in the Newly incorporated sawmill towns which were springing up along the Texas-Louisiana border, and he and Elzadie probably teamed up in the early 20s. Mayo Williams recalled that she came into town (Chicago) with Ezell in 1925. A few years later in October 1928 the duo would cut this 78 in Chicago (where Will also became a busy fella for Paramount).
