Description

This highly collectible LP is being sold from the personal collection of two of the members of Brigg, one of whom owns the eBay store from which this is being sold.  The album has been stored since 1973 in cool, dry conditions in the original shipping container; stacked flat with the last remaining few albums of this one and only, original pressing.

These are the last in their possession.

FACTS ABOUT BRIGG THAT ARE OFTEN MISCONSTRUED ON THE WEB.  (Or setting the 'record' straight!)

1. This album is the ONLY ever recorded and authorized album by the band.  It was NEVER licensed to Hablabel (LP), Mind'sEye (CD) or any other company you see advertising this record for sale. They are ILLEGAL BOOTLEGS of inferior quality and should be reported immediately to eBay (or another company listing them) to have them withdrawn from their listings.  I have heard them all and they are terrible quality and they are illegally reproduced.

2.  There were only a total of 1,000 albums ever pressed and that was in 1973.

3.   Brigg was a studio project whose members were Rob Morse, Rusty Foulke and Jeff Willoughby.  Willoughby and Foulke are founding members of Hybrid Ice and Hybrid Ice performs on four tracks on the album.  This is the first-ever PUBLISHED audio recording of Hybrid Ice and those four tracks were never recorded again by Hybrid Ice.

4. Brigg never played a live show together.

5. Brigg was not a high school 'project' as has been written on many websites.  It was written by high school-aged, working musicians, and produced and paid for by the band members themselves.  It was SOLD in high school by the band members to the rest of the student body, however.

6.  It was the first recording project for Susquehanna Sound Productions and was hastily mixed by the engineer overnight and presented to the band the next day.

7.  The names under the photos for Morse and Foulke are (mistakenly) reversed.

8.  The cover photo was taken by Charles Berkey, brother of Jackson Berkey, keyboardist of Mannheim Steamroller.
