At auction here is the mega Rare!! 1972 UK original self titled SPINNING JENNY LP on the MIDAS label No. MR 004.
This album sold so few on it’s release but has now become a most sought after folk collectable, it’s rarely seen at auction, especially in the condition that this one is.
Spinning Jenny were an all female trio of Margaret Reid, her sister Kathleen and Christine Kandzeria, they appeared mainly in the North Manchester folk clubs in the early seventies.
Tracks; Connemara Cradle Song – Lancashire Lads – Come Me Little Son – Down At Our School – Butcher Boy – Dirty Old Town – OP’ Op’ Op’ – I Know My Love – Last Thing On My Mind – Banks Of The Ohio – Lord Of The Dance – Swedish Driving Song.
Both record and cover are in EX+ condition, looks very lightly played.
