Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. - "Tombstone Valentine" was the WIGWAM album that seems to show the band members getting to grips with their musical desires.
Nowadays, as is the often case, this rarity LP is considered a classic within progressive / underground-rock world-wide circles featuring a number of original tracks that makes it stand out as one of the great progressive albums of the seventies ...
Wigwam's second album is a slightly more refined version of the first album repeating the schizophrenia in really two personalities, when tracks are represented by both Wigwam's writers, on their own seperate paths, though they also contribute to each other's compositions, sorta like Lennon/McCartney did with the Beatles.
The legendary guitarist, Jukka Tolonen, was borrowed from the also legendary Tasavvalen Presidentti coming in with his explosive guitar though never officially joined WIGWAM.
However, this LP was the first noticeable of many collaborations between the two groups for years to come until the ultimate disbanding of Tasavvalen Presidentti ~~ with members ending up in Wigwam

- The album opens with a throw-back title track followed by a Traffic-inspired groove.
The highlight is the Cream-sounding "Fred & Bill" - while "Thinker" is reminiscent of late '60s, roaring Bob Seeger System (especially in the edgy-vocal delivery).
Yet some tracks are in the rock jazz prog blues in "Highway 61" Dylan mode while others are influenced by Procol Harum, but really Traffic-inspired. With the arrival of super-bassist Pohjola, the equilibrium between Gustvson and Pembroke is tipped in favor of Gustavson but this is not apparent yet as in later WIGWAM albums.
WIGWAM'S first two albums are in the same vein as
British'60s "CANTERBURY" reminiscent of Caravan, Soft Machine, etc yet WIGWAM maintain their own underground-prog/psych & rock direction which fans have found of the highest order...

The cover: RATED: "EX" (excellent) Hard to find an original in ANY condition,this one is virtually TOP LEVEL (!) having only a light sticker pull at top right (look!) ... it's a fine copy!
There are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing
