If you are a pedantic collector who demands Mint condition for every record, there is nothing to see here, so please move on. Personally, I've never seen the point of a Mint record - rather defeats their purpose, I'd say! Anyway, as a record reviewer in the late sixties/early 70s, it was my job to listen to records then tell readers what I thought about them, so they had to be spun. I didn't mistreat them, but the more I liked them the more likely they were to be played again. Fortunately for prospective purchasers, I wasn't over keen on Forest - a little on the twee side for me, so this single didn't see too much action, either for the A side, 'Searching For Shadows', or the B side, 'Mirror Of Life', this track from their 'Forest' album. The single came out in September 1969. The Harvest label was noted for its prog rock output and could always be relied upon to offer quality material. The record comes in its original, attractive Harvest cover. Under a strong light you may notice a few surface marks on either side, but playing quality is fine. No actual spindle marks around the centre hole which I can notice. It seems fair to describe this record overall as VG+.
