Description

  • A Velvet Underground / Lou Reed rare 1967 flexi-disc record.
    • The best condition example of any we could find photos of. An accessory from a limited-edition book, Andy Warhol's Index. Presumably has never been played, because it is still attached to the insert.
    • The recording is said to be an interview with Velvet Underground / Lou Reed / Warhol's Factory people. Not sure whether there is also live music featured?
    • From some online research, the book set itself is described as "now an expensive rarity" (Link)
    • Could find only one example of this disc having been sold at auction in 2014 but in far worse condition.(Link)
    • The detachment part for the disc is somewhat yellowed, other than that, I can think of no criticisms for this item. There are five close-up photos above which speak for themselves.
