Release Year: 1968
Vinyl: Very Good (VG). Superficial, surface, imperfections (scuffs/hairlines) do not affect playback beyond light background noise. Plays through with no skips. Sounds great! Cleaned in a Klaudio sonic cleaner! 
Jacket: Good Plus (G+). All seams (except one) have fully split. If there is a saving grace, the splits are clean splits with no extra ripping or tearing. Otherwise, light surface, corner and spine wear. Tack and/or staple holes on the poster corners and two of the photos, at the top. See the many photos provided.
Labels: Excellent (EX). Beautiful! Correct, "Capitol Dome" logos, for 1968, at the bottom of sides 2 and 4.
Extras: Original, first-year (1968) pressing. Low serial number (00225054). No prefix letters ("A") or dot before the serial number. Many of the first year label errors (spelling, punctuation). This jacket is adorned with a VERY RARE promotional stamp consisting of 43 individual holes spelling out the word "FREE". These copies were given to Capitol Records employees and radio stations in the Los Angeles area in 1968. The "starburst" (LA) hallmark is in the deadwax. The John and Paul photos, both, have a couple of tack holes while the George and Ringo have no holes yet very light staining and tape marks on the backsides. The poster has several staple holes in each corner. The poster is correct, 1968, glossy front side (photos) and mat finish on the other,back side (lyrics). See all the photos provided.
