Originally released as part of a bigger box set in 2018, this collection selects key rarities, B-sides and overlooked treasures from it, creating a shinning example at the diversity of this amazing singer. Among these key tracks, none shines brighter than 'Under the Ivy', an intimate piece that has long been regarded as her greatest hidden masterpiece. First appearing as the B-side to 'Running Up That Hill' in 1985, the song strips away polished studio sound, leaving only Bush's evocative piano and a vocal that balances between nostalgia and vulnerability. Its imagery of secret gardens and childhood is nothing less than spellbinding. Other moments of excellence include highlights like 'Experiment IV', 'You Want Alchemy' and her dazzling take on Elton John's 'Rocket Man'. Subtle remastering brings renewed clarity, with Bush herself adjusting intros, outros and EQ to ensure these songs sound stronger than ever. Labelling these tracks as "extra" or "bonus tracks' would be an underestimation of this material as they carry the same brilliance as her most celebrated classics, so take a visit to the other side(s).
