THE LIGHTS OF HOME...........WaHord (Marjorie Music) IN THIS modern day in which we live, where there seems to be so much trouble on every hand, one of the things a Christian should enjoy is to sit back, relax, and enjoy good gospel recordings. And, if one likes good gospel singing with a touch of country music flavor, they will certainly enjoy the singing of the Gospel Trio. This Trio does not specialize in big Gospel Concerts which seem to interest so many groups today, but their joy comes from spiritual Saturday night singings and song services, where Christians seem to really get into the service and let the Lord richly bless them. The Gospel Trio is composed of Barbara Taylor, who does most of the lead parts; Peggy Sue Stiltner, who sings alto and plays the accordion, and Billy Joe Trent doing the tenor. Assisting them on back-up instruments are Pearl Banks, rhythm guitar; Doris Banks playing the piano, and James (Red) Taylor on the electric guitar. The title song on this album, "Led Out Of Bondage", features Barbara, Sue, and Doris. The Gospel Trio's sincere desire is that when you listen to their first long-play album, that you can forget the cares of this life for just a while, and it will bless you so that you will surely feel as if you have been "led^ out . of bondage."
